Hypergraph at Mobile World Congress 2025: Our 4YFN experience

Hypergraph at MWC 2025 4YFN Barcelona

From March 3-6, 2025, we had the privilege of participating in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, specifically in the 4 Years From Now (4YFN) area, the global epicenter of mobile innovation and tech startups. This experience has been fundamental in positioning Hypergraph on the international cybersecurity landscape.

Mobile World Congress: The world's most important tech gathering

MWC 2025 exceeded all expectations, bringing together over 100,000 professional visitors from 200 different countries. As the most influential tech fair on the planet, the event provided the perfect stage to present our Graph Neural Networks-based cybersecurity solution to a global audience.

4YFN, located in Parc de Fòrum Diagonal Mar, has established itself as Europe's most important startup hub, where the most promising emerging companies present their innovations to investors, large corporations, and specialized media. This year, over 700 startups from 60 countries participated in the event, creating a unique ecosystem of innovation and business opportunities.

The presence of tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and the world's leading telecommunications operators created an ideal environment for strategic networking and commercial partnerships.

Our booth: Demonstrating the cybersecurity revolution

Our booth at 4YFN was strategically designed to highlight the disruptive innovation of our platform. With a modern aesthetic combining neural network visual elements and real-time graphics, we successfully captured the attention of both technical visitors and executives.

**Live demonstrations:** We conducted over 150 personalized platform demonstrations, showing how Graph Neural Networks can detect cybersecurity threats that traditional systems fail to identify. The ability to visualize network pattern analysis in real-time particularly impressed CTOs and security officers.

**Interactive touch technology:** We implemented touch screens that allowed visitors to explore real use cases, simulate attacks, and observe how our AI responds in real-time. This hands-on approach was key to conveying the technical value of our solution.

**Commercial materials:** We developed specific materials for different audiences: from detailed technical brochures for engineers to executive presentations for decision-makers, all adapted to the different visitor profiles at MWC.

Strategic networking and business opportunities

MWC's value goes beyond exposure; it's fundamentally a high-level networking opportunity. During the four days of the event, we established strategic connections that will shape Hypergraph's future:

**International investors:** We held meetings with 12 investment funds specialized in cybersecurity and deep tech, including representatives from Silicon Valley, London, and Tel Aviv. The interest shown in our GNN-based approach was exceptional, with three funds already requesting documentation for due diligence.

**Technology partners:** We established advanced conversations with system integrators and technology distributors from France, Germany, the UK, and Italy. These alliances are crucial for our European expansion strategy during 2025.

**Enterprise clients:** We held commercial meetings with IT leaders from multinational companies in the financial, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. Interest in automated cybersecurity solutions that don't require technical experts was consistent across all conversations.

**Specialized media:** We gave interviews to leading publications like TechCrunch, Wired, Forbes, and specialized cybersecurity media, generating media coverage valued at over €50,000 in earned media.

Industry learnings and trends

MWC 2025 gave us privileged insight into the trends that will define the future of technology and, specifically, cybersecurity:

**Generative AI in security:** We observed growing interest in generative AI applications for cybersecurity, which validates our pioneering approach with Graph Neural Networks. However, we noticed that most solutions focus on post-mortem analysis, while our predictive detection capability clearly differentiates us.

**Frictionless automation:** Companies are increasingly seeking solutions that don't require specialized human intervention. Our "autonomous cybersecurity" proposition resonated especially with SMEs that can't afford dedicated security teams.

**5G and Edge Computing convergence:** The massive 5G deployment is creating new attack vectors that require more sophisticated solutions. Our graph-based distributed architecture is perfectly positioned to address these emerging challenges.

**Digital sustainability:** Surprisingly, we noticed growing interest in energy-efficient cybersecurity solutions. Our GNN approach consumes significantly fewer computational resources than traditional systems, which was an unexpected but valuable differentiator.

Our participation in MWC 2025 4YFN exceeded all expectations, generating commercial leads worth over €2M in pipeline and laying the foundation for our international expansion. But beyond the numbers, we validated that Hypergraph is developing the technology the market truly needs: intelligent, automated, and accessible cybersecurity for all companies. Barcelona showed us we're ready for the next level.
