Hypergraph selected for HAZITEK 2024 program
We are pleased to announce that Hypergraph has been selected to participate in the prestigious HAZITEK program of the Basque Government, an initiative that promotes business R&D and is supported by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027.
What is the HAZITEK program?
The HAZITEK program is an initiative of the Basque Government designed to support high strategic value business research and development projects. This program is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027, which demonstrates its relevance and impact at the European level.
The main objectives of the program include:
• Fostering technological innovation in Basque companies
• Strengthening business competitiveness through R&D
• Promoting collaboration between companies and research centers
• Driving projects that generate significant market impact

Our project: Ciber-GNNs
Our project, identified as ZL-2024/00329, is titled "Ciber-GNNs: the first cybersecurity platform based on graph neural networks". This ambitious project represents a revolutionary advance in the field of cybersecurity, combining the latest artificial intelligence technologies with the urgent need for digital protection faced by today's businesses.
Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) represent a new frontier in machine learning, especially suitable for analyzing structured data such as communication networks, computer systems and network traffic patterns. Our platform leverages this technology to:
• Detect cyber threats in real-time with unprecedented accuracy
• Analyze anomalous behavior patterns in enterprise networks
• Provide automated responses to security incidents
• Offer adaptive protection that evolves with threats

Project impact and relevance
The selection of our project for the HAZITEK program validates the strategic importance of our proposal. In a world where cyber threats constantly evolve, traditional security solutions quickly become obsolete.
Our GNN-based approach offers several key advantages:
Adaptability: Graph neural networks can learn and adapt to new threat patterns without manual reprogramming.
Efficiency: By analyzing the network structure as a whole, our system can identify threats that would go unnoticed by traditional systems.
Scalability: The graph-based architecture allows handling networks of any size, from small businesses to large corporations.
Automation: We significantly reduce the need for human intervention, enabling faster and more consistent responses.
